A one-night, group art show exploring fermentation and familiarity. Event copy:
"(Bio)cultured invites a rethinking of the boundaries between science and culture, exploring food as a symbol of physical and psychological nourishment. Through microbiological processes, fermentation embodies the growth and transformation at culture’s core, where nature, time, and human collaboration converge. Just as yeast and bacteria adapt through mutual influence, fermentation mirrors cultural evolution—dissolving old forms to create new. This project forms a dialogue, by inviting artists to share their unique food traditions, blending diverse cultures in a shared experience. Through fermentation, boundaries dissolve, revealing timeless connections and new possibilities."
